Q: How does multi-level commission work?
When a machine under your tree pays, every level walks up: child → child's parent → ... → root. Each level uses the CHILD's commission_rate (set when that child was created).
Q: Can my sub-agent create their own sub-agents?
Yes — unlimited depth. Each sub-agent gets their own api_token and promo_code; they can create their own downstream and earn from THEIR downstream.
Q: What's the difference between quota_balance and commission?
quota_balance = points you spent / your upstream gave you, used to extend / activate machines. commission_tx = settlement record (your downstream's consumption × your rate); accumulates as a ledger entry, not auto-credited to balance.
Q: Where to set commission rate?
When you create a sub-agent, you set THEIR commission_rate (0.0–1.0). That's the % they pay UP to you (and your upstream chain) every time their downstream consumes quota.
